Multi-factor Authentication

Part of our commitment to providing you with the best virtual care experience is ensuring zero compromise on the privacy and security of your health information. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) requires members to identify themselves with more than just their username and password to gain access to their app.

You can now enable MFA in your Dialogue app, to help better protect your personal information!

Enabling MFA on your Dialogue account:

  1. Navigate to the Security section in the app and turn on the “Multi-factor authentication” toggle.

  2. Press “Continue” on the pop-up displayed. Please note: once you start the process to configure MFA, you will need to complete it or you will be logged out of the application.

  3. Apple devices only: Upon clicking on “continue”, you will have to re-enter your username and password.

  4. Enter your phone number that you would like to use for MFA. You can choose to receive the code via Text message (SMS) or a Voice call. MFA can be configured with landlines using the Voice Call option.

  5. Enter the 6-digit code received at your phone number. If you have not received the code, you can click on “resend” to receive it again.

  6. Copy your recovery code and check the box “I have safely recorded this code”. It is recommended that members keep their code somewhere secure such as a password manager that they can access even if they do not have access to their device.

If ever you need to regain access to your account without your device, you can use the recovery code.

That’s it! You can select the option to “Remember this device for 30 days”, but we recommend entering a security code as regularly as possible to ensure the security of your app information.

What to do if you encounter problems?

If you do not have access to your device or your recovery code, chat with us by opening the orange icon in the bottom right of the page to have your MFA reset after we confirm your identity.
