Dialogue cares deeply for the well-being of our members, and our services include a specialized needs assessment to determine whether your issue is within our scope of practice and the eligibility of your access plan.
At Dialogue, we have developed a scope of practice to ensure the highest standards of care, in line with the various medical guidelines in Canada. This scope of practice is constantly reviewed and updated by our medical and clinical quality committees in order to respect safety standards in virtual consultation and to correspond to our service offering. If you find yourself in a situation where we cannot treat you virtually, our team is available for further explanation, and to point you in the right direction.
In line with our commitment to continuous improvement, Dialogue became the first virtual care provider in Canada to be certified by Accreditation Canada in 2022, earning the Basic Accreditation award. Accreditation Canada serves as the third-party validation of our safety and quality of care. As of March 2025, Dialogue is proud to be the first and only virtual care provider accredited with Exemplary Standing, the highest possible designation awarded by Accreditation Canada.
Note about Mental Health: Dialogue’s mental health services are based on short-term, goals-based treatment, and matched to members according to the severity of their symptoms. Some individual situations require specialized treatment, longer term attention, and/or must be done in person, in which case these may fall outside of our scope of practice.
